Anyone that knows me, knows that I love my Mini Cooper. Well, I am afraid to say that I may have found another love in the Mini Countryman (at least I am keeping my devotion in the family). Don't get me wrong, my affinity will always be to the Cooper. However in certain cases the Cooper just isn't very practical. "Enter Stage Left"....the Mini Countryman.
It's four-door, with optional all-wheel drive. The interior has a track system down the middle. "The Mini Center Rail may be fitted with holders for entertainment and telecommunication devices, cup holders, a case for sunglasses ... as well as center armrests held safely and comfortably in position. The holders and storage bins placed on the center rail may then be moved forward and backward to any desired position."
The Countryman is Mini's version of a Crossover. One news article I read compared it to a small Porsche Cayene. This car is awesome! Reports say it will be available in the US by 2011. There are only a few leaked photos online and a teaser video. I can't wait to test drive one.
