Copycat - The Glamourai

I have always admired Kelly Framel's personal style. Her apartment is incredible. Have you seen it? Weirdly I had a dream the other night that I helped her move into a different apartment, even bigger and more glamorous then the first. (Kelly - if you are reading this I swear I am not a weirdo....)

She has been featured many times wearing her Banana Republic heritage vest. I love how she mixes it with so many items, so effortlessly. I found a similar vest here. It's on sale too!

I think, once upon a time, in woodshop class, I tried laser cutting. It's not for the clutzy or clumsy - like myself. Which is why I truly admire the skill. Fashion + laser cut = beautiful!

Maybelline Baby Lips

I am so excited to try this new product. It reminds me of the chaptsick I used in grade school. Maybelline says that this lip balm provides 8 hours of moisturizer and lips are generously repaired after 4 weeks of use - smooth as a baby's lips. Comes in 4 flavors...menthol (yuck), berry, orange, and cherry.

I have looked for it at my local CVS and Walgreens. So far, nada. I hope their stock comes in soon.

There are certain colors that I just love. Red is one of them - its a constant for me. I have red hair and I drive a red car, pretty obvious its my favorite color. However I happened to try on a pair of jade shoes this weekend. I had jeans on and a black shirt. The pop of color was great. I was enamored immediately. I knew I had to add some jade into my wardrobe. The Nine West shoes will be making there way into my closet soon.

Workwear - Outfits and Pieces

I think of myself as pretty fashion-forward and on trend with the seasons and times. Admittedly, I have trouble putting together outfits for work. I have no issues with after-work - cocktail parties, dinners with friends, gameday outfits, but workwear always seems to find me in my closet having a mini-meltdown. Thankfully I came across two brilliant series from Nordstrom and Banana Republic. I am sure you have seen this type of series before but I think its always nice to be reminded and always gives me inspiration.

If you are going to purchase one major investment piece this Fall/Winter... I suggest a cape. A cape is not as structured as a typical winter coat yet not as frumpy as a poncho. It's a little of both, but much more stylish and fun. It's a perfect layering piece. I love RZ's cape, but sadly it looks like its sold out everywhere.

I love me some SJP. She can do no wrong in my book. Carrie is another story though. That girl could get on my nerves something awful. Especially regarding Aidan...anyway I digress.

Her outfit here is fantastic. I know everyone is color-blocking these days but I think these two colors go particularly well together.

Keep Calm Bandaids

These are too cute! I feel like this slogan has been played out but I like the bandaid idea. Especially since I tend to freak out when I get a boo-boo.

I feel like animal prints are always hot for Fall. But in the past I haven't found many items to incorporate into my wardrobe. Well, that's all changed now, with the new items I have seen so far. I definitely have a pair of luscious leopard pumps on my shopping list.
