What's Hot Now - Floral Prints for Spring

The perfect shoe from Nine West to jump start your Spring wardrobe. I am slowly embracing the floral trend. I say slowly because I am a child of the 80's and I remember the horrible floral prints back then.

What's Hot Now - Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie was my pick for best dressed at the Golden Globes this year. Her Atelier Versace gown and red accessories were flawless. I think this look would be easy to recreate with the right dress. The Tibi dress is the right start. The Bag Snob has the inside scoop on Angie's decadent Louboutin clutch.

Copycat - Phillip Lim vs Melie Bianco

I have loved the Phillip Lim satchel since it came out last year. It's stylish, minimalist design, "had me at hello!" The Melie Bianco has the identical top handles, side zippers and long strap - it is definitely a copycat in my eyes.

Jason Wu for Target - February 5

Yesterday, T Magazine, the New York Times Style Magazine, released the above two images from the newest Target collaboration with Jason Wu. The collection will be in stores February 5th. The line is inspired by French New Wave films. In terms of clothing, I am more interested in this collaboration then the Missoni. I like the classic structure of the dress.

Missoni for Target brought a lot of negativity upon these collaborations, because of lack of stock and misinformation in general for the online items. I wonder if those experiences will affect the sales for Jason Wu?

Poplin dress, $40, and satchel, $50.

Happy 2012

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful holidays. I don't make hard and fast resolutions for the New Year. My list leans more towards general goals. I think setting goals is always important and can be made at any point during the year. The slate is clean, and its a brand new start. What goals or resolutions are you implementing? Here are mine:

1. Be more organized, especially at work. I bought a new binder and a new journal to implement this goal.
2. Live outside of my comfort zone and take more risks.
3. Eat healthier lunches. I need to pack my own lunch and not eat at the local sandwich shop.
4. Craft at least three DIY projects on  my pinterest board.
5. Finish major house projects.
6. Perfect my italian cooking and recipes.
7. Learn how to use my SLR camera.
